I can choose to toast them if I wish and this gives me the most options. they tasted fresh, not old or rancid. i'm really happy! i used the seeds to make tahini and then used the tahini to make halva. since my family loves hummus i knew we would enjoy this product and that it wouldn't go to waste. tahini is so expensive to buy but if you have a good blender or food processor, you can make it from this. i have the seeds blended up so easily. side note: i do not use olive oil in because at the speeds it can make the phenols in the olive oil taste bitter (learned this from a mayonnaise incident).

Looking for Affordable whole cloves? So was I and then I discovered this item on Gourmeturca! Purchased to make cloved oranges for the holidays. Great alternative to my local grocery stores high priced/small quantity cloves and with prime shipping, arrives promptly I love it. The price and quality is seriously good. The Quantity is very good for a person to consume in a year definitely. I think if every it gets completely consumed I will purchase it again. I use cloves in garam masala and also in teas. This has a strong flavor and taste profile. In fact I used my usual quantity in a dish and was overwhelmed with it. Next time will use less!! Thanks a lot!

Not too spicy. Good flavor. Love it on fried gizzards. Yum. Fried, regular chicken, however, needs to be given plenty of time to setup. So, dunk and dredge whatever and then let sit for at least 30 minutes before frying.It's labeled as spicy, but it's a real mild heat. My kids were able to eat it without complaining about the heat. The batter itself is on the thin side, but adheres well to the chicken and makes for a good crispy crunch. This is one of the better packaged batters I've tried. I will have to order more and a little bit earlier.

So I was determined to not pay “wedding cake prices” for my wedding cake lol. My solution was to order a 2-tier plain “birthday cake” in our flavor of choice, and decorate it ourselves. These little guys saved us from a completely plain cake (which, for the record, I would’ve been completely cool with, but these ended up really cute!). The bottle is HUGE! This butter chicken paste makes a superb tasty meal. Definitely not what I would call mild. If you have a low tolerance for hot spicy food then you should probably pass on this. However if you're like me and enjoy a little heat in your food then you'll love this! I prepared it with three pounds of boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into one inch cubes. I browned the chicken and then added the spice and one cup of water. I omitted the 3 tablespoons of butter because I left the fat on the chicken. The delicious aroma was heavenly as soon as I opened the pouch. Once it hit the heat of the pan the entire house smelled like a top notch Indian restaurant. This sauce is definitely going to be on the top of my list when it comes to making Indian food at home.

It is standing up by itself when used in other foods like as a topping for ice cream. Try it, I am sure you will like it. t. Whole currants and a multilayered taste...tart, sweet, and most importantly, the currant taste does not taste generic but specific to the fruit. Many currants that are sold out there are just fruitish and sweet...this tastes like what it is in all its fruity complexity. Just perfect. Bought this on a whim because I read Black Currant is a healthy food and I didn't want more pills/supplements to add to my regime. I am pleased at the delicious taste it provides.

Here's a tip: hold your nostrils shut when pouring the pepper and avoid the sneezes. Good coloring. Nice spice addition to any kitchen. Cayenne pepper adds so much flavor to any fish but this stuff has to be some of the best I have tried. It brings great flavor with some real heat. It doesn't take much to really spice things up so do use caution when using this (a little truly goes a long way). I have tried a lot of the different spices offered by gourmeturca and they have all been winners for me. Would buy again surely.

It is very potent and full bodied. I do highly recommend this. It smells fresh and it works as expected so far in my bread recipes. The seeds were fragrant and flavorful. sprinkle over a butter and radish sandwich for a life changing experience. My husband is an Israeli of Yemenite descent and uses a lot of the seed for cooking and baking. She used to have to separate the husk from the seed, which took tine. Your product comes clean and ready to use. She loves it! Using in cooking and as additive to salad, sandwich, soups, whatever I’m eating. Tasty and doesn’t overwhelm the regular ingredients.

The bay leaves came smelling great, unbroken and were nice big leaves. I would buy again. Fresh. High Quality. Well packed. Great Enjoy by Date. Great Taste. No issues with Company nor product. Will Do indeed purchase again from. Updated All of Our Spices. All of our Spices were out of date old. So replaced each one with new ones.So if you see my name pop up on spices . Yes All of the Spices I ordered to replace my old one we as mentioned above. Excellent Quality Product. Good flavor, noticeable in stews, soups, stirfries. I still had a few leaves left after three months or so, and unfortunately the color and smell faded significantly. Perhaps that's to be expected. (All in all, I preferred the Turkish ones)
