Tarhana is a wonderful traditional food from Turkey. It is made with yoghurt, wheat, chili pepper and thyme. They make a dough with this ingredients and dry it under the sun. I think preparing a traditional food with the traditional way is so important. It can really effect the taste. That’s why this brand is my favourite. I have eaten tarhana before. But i think using chili pepper will make it even better. Besides the chips is really crunchy. It gives you a really wonderful experience. So i definetly suggest it to everyone that likes spicy and crunchy foods!

I need to accept that when i first saw this i did not understand what it is. Then i read the description and got it. It is said that this is a type of cracked wheat but darker and harder than the other wheats. They say that it is because of the place it is produced. I think it is called amik plain. I do not know where it is but i assume it is in Turkey. Because the product comes from there. It is a really different food but it tastes really good. I prefer to eat with as a rice with some boiled vegetables. And i also suggest you to flavour it with some spices.
