I first bought this dar chocolate bar for a friend of mine who was recovering in the hospital and when I asked what I could send him he said, "Candy. " LOL. He was very happy with my choice (though personally I think he used the chocolate to bribe nurses to spend more time with him). What I surprised was the taste, the flavor, the bitterness. It's not that bitter like many others I have tried. There is a pleasant smoothness when it melted in my mouth. It does not have oily taste like the other chocolates. Even my 4 years old kid, who normally does not touch dark chocolate, like it too.

It has been really nice to just open my cupboard anytime me or one of my children want a special treat. Not only is this great to keep in the house, but it's also perfect to keep at work!! After eating at a wonderful Turkish restaurant, my wife gave me a Turkish cookbook. One of the ingredients that is often required is red pepper paste. Instead of making it at home, I decided to purchase the pepper paste from gourmeturca. It has a wonderful aroma and flavor - think tomato paste, but made from ripe red bell peppers. The one thing to note is that there is quite a bit of salt already in the paste, so make sure to account for this when cooking. I will prefer this brand always. This is the best for me. The quality of Tat tomatoes and pepper are immediately demonstrated in the taste. I do a lot of cooking, and make many difference tomato& pepper paste sauces. I have tried numerous brands, including high-end and cheap private-label store brands, and have rarely been able to tell much of a difference. In this case, I make an exception--Tat’s organic whole tomatoes and peppers are substantially better than every other brand I've used. The brightness and freshness of tomatos and pepper flavor stand out, and I rarely find myself reaching for salt or sugar to balance the tones of the sauces like I need to with other tomatoes and peppers. Turkish coffee has been one of my cravings since I started to live in the USA. I have tried to drink Turkish coffee at a few restaurants, but the taste and the lack of the thin layer of foam on top of the coffee were unsatisfying. I decided to buy this product, make my own Turkish coffee, and scry my fortune (After drinking the coffee, the residual accumulates at the bottom of the cup. Turn the cup over on the plate, wait until the cup gets cold, lift up the cup and look at the residue pattern. If you are creative to make stories out of the residue, then you can tell someone's fortune by looking at his/her Turkish coffee residue.)

This is the main spice in my household ever since I bought it. I use it for many things including burgers and steaks. However my largest used for it is in frying chicken. My family loves my fried chicken, and all I do is pour ottoman spice to the plate full of flour in a mound, then pour enough this spices steak seasoning to cover the top of the mound.
