I love chickpeas and I always look for good quality brands in case my favorite is sold out. This one is pretty solid but I always rinse to remove excess sodium, I reccomend this to avoid.I wash these with a little lemon juice and cold icy water. Gets rid of all the muck, salt and brine. Fab with a salad. And so very healthy. Add white sliced morel mushrooms and some veganaise. . I am vegan so I find this product both tasty and healthy. One of the Best canned chick peas ever. Great value. I absolutely reccomended! Excellent job.

We are in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic and my son was worried that I may not have food to eat if things get real tough so I went looking for some cooked beans to keep on hand. Pounds of beans is a lot and I probably won't have to buy anymore for about 10 years but at least I am secure in the knowledge that if anything happens in our society to make survival a challenge, at least I can feed myself. I really like the small can size, as I use these as a pizza topping, and when I have a few leftover from that project, I put the on my green salad. Very tasty and I will buy again when I run low on stock. We eat a lot of veggie burgers in our house, and we always add a few pickles for crunch and added flavor. how nice to have some on the shelf for a craving emergency for beet pickles. The color is amazing. I have never seen a more vivid color in my life. The taste is not super salty or super dull. Just on the point. I like eating this in my salads and would recommend everyone to try it out. My famous salad recipe has a secret ingredient; beet pickles! Love these. Too expensive in gourmet grocery. Excellent taste and texture for canned beans. I use in soups, salads, with tomatoes, red onion cucumbers and feta, with vinaigrette. Not available where I live as coked can beans. If there was a 6 star I would have to pick that! is great as a side dish, as an appetizer, or a meal. I purchased them to feed the squirrels, blue jays, and cardinals in my yard. I like purchasing the bags of this size for the freshness and quality. We eat them too and do not want to buy bulk bird nuts that are lower grade. Peanuts are a great part of my diet, and I am so glad I can find them *unsalted* and roasted, in large bags!! The value is great compared to buying the smaller bags that are available at my local grocery store and I've always been satisfied with the freshness. We like to entertain the squirrels in our yard with different food items (plus it keeps them away from the bird feeders). I will say the squirrels seem to give them a 5 star rating!
