    Where is lemon dragee produced?

     

    Dragee is produced in steel cauldrons. The glazing process is made in a separate pot to polish it. We glaze it regularly with no mistakes. We do add natural healthy colorant substances when it is needed. If we desire to round off the dragee, the cold air intake has to be replaced by a hot air for 5 minutes. Dragee makes chocolate more apparent in taste and shape.

     

    How is dragee made?

    We peel the lemon and take off the white section of it. Then, we cut it in certain shapes and put the lemon peels in cold water. After washing them to remove the sour taste out of them we boil them in a big pot. We repeat the process three times. Eventually, we add natural sugar to water and stir it for 30 minutes and boil it again to have the texture of syrup. Then, we cool it. We melt chocolate with hazelnut oil together in a separate pot. After melting the mix we add the lemon peels to it. We put the chocolate covered lemons on baking paper on a tray. Then, we put them in fridge to let them solidify. After taking the dragee out of the fridge we coat it with cacao. Then, we sieve the cacao powder. Finally, we store the dragee in fridge or in a very cool place.

     

     

    What are the production steps of lemon dragee?

     

    According to the cortex of Turkish food the products are produced daily. The lemon chocolate dragee does not contain any kind of additive substances. We use both the traditional method and the modern technique together. Chocolate is produced in modern factories by using automatic machines under hygiene conditions. It is censored periodically through the year and tested by international standards.

    The shelf life of lemon dragee is three months as long as you keep it in a cool and dry place.
