I ran into this product in a small import store 20 years ago in Milwaukee. I picked up a small can just to try, like I do with many seasoning items as I travel. I must say, it works wonders on my cooking. It is a superior product, and quite concentrated. You must be carful not to use to much in your recipes. I use it in instant mashed potatoes, to name a one dish, and my family loves it. Also, sprinkle a little on baked meat dishes, and goes good in a cup of hot water when you have a cold. The Bagdat meatball mix is a pretty good substitute for those times when you don't have the drippings to make the real thing. It's great on meatball and works well on both beef and pork. Turn simple hamburger into a much more elegant Salisbury Steak by pouring some Bagdat meatball mix over it. You can assist the mix by preparing it in the pan in which you cooked the meat. That way you get a bit of real fond in the gravy. Melt a bit of butter in the gravy just before it's done and you'll add a nice shine to it and improve the consistency. It is magnificant

This is what cinnamon is supposed to be! This is the real thing... the thin, crumbly layers. It grinds beautifully into a very tasty and strong cinnamon powder. I gave bottles of powder to friends for Holiday gifts, and they really liked them. This bag contains enough to last quite some time, give as gifts, and so on. Ok when you buy pepper logically you want the food to have the hot taste of black pepper. Unfortunately I brought another brand of cheaper coarsely ground black pepper from another seller and GOT WHAT I PAID FOR! The pepper barely registered as pepper to my senses of smell. I eyes did not even water at the inhailation of the pepper. the cheap stuff was pepper in name only or what nice Jewish people call Dreck. Dreck = Garbage. The other pepper I threw away it was not worth eating. Why buy quality food only to ruin it with pepper that barely tastes like pepper. I liked this one quite a lot.

I love the combination of traditional Turkish coffee and napolitan milk chocolate. I drink as I drink, I hope I do not fall into a caffeine coma :) You cannot imagine the flavor it leaves in the mouth. It does not even tell about it, it should definitely be tasted. You can taste the difference between commercial (refined) salt and the Himalayan Chef Pink salt. The amount lasts for weeks, even months as you do not have to use as much as you would for table salt! The salt definitely boasts to your taste buds and give an explosion of heightened flavor. It contains trace minerals that your body needs (along with the amount of sodium required daily) which you can consume/take without having scrunch your face up about some supplement. This also doubles as a relaxing conduit when you take a bath. Works wonders to your muscles and skin after a long day of work and you fall asleep like a baby afterwards. I always use baldo rice in my meals, sometimes I find it difficult to find it. It does stain easily, happily counter surfaces it will fade out of if a little got on there as it oxidizes. Eat the rainbow, including this advise with your spices. I use this as an anti inflammatory, I mix it in my morning coffee, the taste is something you have to get used to and it can get gritty at the bottom, must keep it stirred up because it does not dissolve in coffee. But has really help with my arthritis in my knees. Adding this to my daily diet has been a godsend. This amazing super food offers and has many health benefits primarily with my Arthritis.

I have a planter in my yard with fresh mint growing in it. Mint is one of those spices that will actually taste better when dried. I do not know how they do it, but this tastes as good, or better than my own freshly dried mint. I do use this product daily. I love the taste of fresh mint and I am not always able to have my own, dried, available. This mint is clearly a top notch product, something you can appreciate from the moment you open the plastic bag. Extremely flavorful, I have used it in a variety of sauces and on meats.

Found this seasoning a few years back in a Turkish market and have been looking for it since. I can get it in a smaller size for a pricier tag in the store (not anymore really) but it doesn’t lady long so I’m glad i found this size. My family loves my olives now. I use a ton of it. Don’t know why the stores near me no longer carry it. I m a caterer this is one of my secrets so don’t tell anyone. Great product! It has a good flavor and makes any olive a bit extra special. Just pop it on and yell BAM and you have a restaurant quality olives in minutes!
