Although called a pea, it is actually a bean. Both peas and beans are legumes, and both have edible seeds and pods. I always prefer this kind of beans. Like most beans, black eyed peas have that familiar starchy, beany taste, though they're also pretty earthy. Even though they're called peas, black eyed peas aren't sweet like green peas. They're savory, even a touch nutty. However, the the earthiness is the flavor that comes through the strongest. They're dense and somewhat mealy in that starchy potato sort of way. Garbanzo beans have an earthiness that is quite like black eyed peas. So do pinto beans, though pinto beans are a little sweeter.

about 7 years, I think even more, I live in turkey. Turks have a wide variety of soups. but me, m favorite is tarhana soup. I don't know why but the taste of tarhana soup is just for my taste. Eriste is a traditional Turkish dish of small, flat egg noodles cooked with butter and I like to add some walnuts as a topping. Eriste is made from hand-rolled fresh pasta, and garnished using fresh butter. Of course, there is an instant variety available in the grocery story, but it lacks the rich nutty taste of the real deal. I don’t like the ones I buy from my local grocery store. it's more to do with the sauce you choose to pair the noodles with that seems to change the actual flavor of the pasta. S it is quite personal to like these noodles. I highly recommend yoghurt and pepper as a spice. You may also add spearmind.

hello dark chocolate on the outside is a little bitter. There's something in it with the consistency of jellybeans and it balances the taste. I love dark chocolate, and I prefer this chocolate well.
