These dermason beans are large flat white kidney beans, rich in nutrients, grown in Turkey. When cooked it holds their shape, and have a smooth texture and nutty flavor. Unlike other brands I liked this one quite a lot. I use these beans in soups & salad. It can also be cooked, baked and blended with any vegetable or meat. Basic preparation: Wash, rise & soak overnight. Add 4 Cups of water / Cup of Bean, bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 40-45 minutes or until tender (add more water as needed). Whisk lightly, remove the floating foam. Flavor with butter or oil, salt to taste and any seasoning if desired. Cook uncovered over low heat until desired consistency.

This is my favorite brand for canned vegetables because of its quality & great flavor. The beans are soft, but not mushy. The beans are great in soups, burgers, salads, or straight out. Long standing quality product that is wise to always have on hand. Its the go to item as an ingredient for countess meal. These are hands down the best tasting out of the can beans I have ever tasted in my life. I will order more after finishing these.
